SHAHV Awards

Golden Apple Award

The award shall be presented annually and shall serve the purpose of honoring an individual for his/her dedication to SHAHV.

The recipient of the award shall be nominated and approved by a simple majority of all voting Board Members.

The award is presented with a certificate at the SHAHV Annual Membership Dinner.

Distinguished Service Award

The award shall be presented annually and shall serve the purpose of recognizing an individual who displays exceptional dedication to the service of others in the community by supporting those having communication or developmental disorders or by promoting the professions of speech-language pathology and audiology. The award may be given to a parent, colleague, or an individual within the community.

The recipient of the award shall be nominated and approved by a simple majority of all voting Board Members.

The award is presented with a certificate at the SHAHV Annual Membership Dinner.

Lifetime Members

Lifetime members shall be at least 65 years of age and shall have held membership in SHAHV for at least 15 years. To receive life membership, eligible regular members must submit a request to the Executive Board. Annual dues will be waived for life upon the granting of life membership.
